Celebrate Libraries

Thanks to a $10,000 gift from the Carnegie Corporation of New York, we're putting on a series of events throughout 2026 celebrating libraries, local history, and the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Check out these events!

Event flier for a new museum pass for Spiral House Park. Reserve the pass with the info desk (845-246-4317 x4) and check it out with your library card for free! Purchased with funds from the Friends of the Saugerties Public Library. Pictured is a stone house with a roof wrapping around in a spiral. The house has 9 windows and is surrounded by budding spring trees
Background: A calm pond studded by rocks with tall grasses reaching the sky. In the foreground in a wooden sign with words painted on it saying: Gone Fishin'. Checked out a pole from the library. Came with a free stocked tackle box and manual! Thanks to the Federated Sportsmen's Clubs of Ulster County
Event flier for adult summer reading program running June 1- August 29. Pick up a garden to color in as you read this summer. Enter a raffle for gift cards to local businesses
